Every animal has a story. The horse trained with patience and trust, or a champion that has proven its worth in the arena. The bull that earned your respect. The wild creature spotted in a fleeting, unforgettable moment. A commission by Valerie B Gobeil lets you tell that story — painted in the fine art tradition, created exclusively for you.
What a commission means for you
- Choose the subject that moves you — the beloved horse you've raised, a bull with a story, a bison on the open range, a cougar in the wild, or any domestic or wild animal that holds a special place in your heart
- Select the size and format that fits your space perfectly
- Select a frame with Valerie's guidance to complement both the painting and your home's décor
How it works
- Consultation — We start with a conversation about your vision, subject, size, and budget. To ensure the painting captures your subject accurately, Valerie will need clear, high-quality reference photos. Timeline will also be discussed at this stage — completion time depends on Valerie's schedule and the complexity of the composition, and a realistic timeframe will be confirmed before work begins.
- Deposit — A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your place and begin the work.
- Digital preview — Once the painting is complete, Valerie will send you a digital image for your review and approval.
- Final payment & shipping — Full payment is collected before the painting is shipped to you.
